“The quality of construction has meant minimal maintenance costs long term.”
Project Overview: From rural horse ranch to vibrant countryside community Associated Builders transformed a more than two-acre horse ranch into a 19-unit multi-family community with studio, two and three-bedroom apartment rental options perfect for various lifestyles and households. The project encompassed site development, general engineering, and utility connection in addition to new construction and renovating two existing structures that required an adept ability to navigate both county planning and utility providers.
Client Vision: The client wanted to breathe new life into this neglected property, creating a safe, diverse, and attractive community for families, elderly, and young working people. In addition to constructing unique building interiors, Associated Builders configured buildings and landscaping to give residents as much privacy as possible. Additionally, Associated Builders built a multi-purpose clubhouse to host residents’ celebrations and community gatherings.
Key Highlights:
Planning around the rainy season: While a project’s timeline is influenced by several factors, planning around the weather is absolutely key. Starting work after the rainy season can save significant costs particularly when using construction financing for large-scale projects to minimize potential project downtimes due to rain.
Tailored housing options: Having an agile team of carpenters and concrete experts as well as a supervisory team experienced in both new construction and renovation/remodel enabled Associated Builders to deliver various housing options.
Demonstrated experience that minimizes delays: Associated Builders’ strong track record in complex construction projects enabled quick implementation and relatively seamless coordination between various touchpoints. Our more than 40 years of successful project management experience makes us skilled navigators between architect, engineer, planner/inspector, utility provider and owner.
